Delete Your Account

Effective August 13, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Parkspot.ai account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Parkspot.ai mobile app for iOS and Android, published by Parkspot.

There are two ways to do it. Both remove exactly the same data.

Fastest

Delete in the app

Settings → Delete Account. Takes effect immediately, no waiting on us.

See the steps ↓

No longer have the app

Request it here

For anyone who has uninstalled the app or can’t sign in. We verify and delete for you.

Go to the form ↓

Read this first if you subscribe to Parkspot Pro

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, and billing will continue. Pro is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so it has to be cancelled with whichever of them charges you. Cancel first, then delete — how to cancel.

1. Delete your account in the app

Deletion is immediate and takes effect as soon as you confirm:

  • Open the Parkspot.ai app and make sure you are signed in;
  • Go to the Settings tab;
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account;
  • Read the confirmation dialog and tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore a deleted account.

2. Request deletion here

If you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would rather we did it, use this form. It does not delete anything on its own — it raises a request, and we confirm the account is yours before removing it.

  • We acknowledge requests within 2 business days;
  • We complete verified deletions within 30 days, usually within a few days.

We’ll email you to confirm before anything is deleted.

Prefer email? Write to support@parkspot.ai from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We use the address you send from to verify ownership, so please use the account’s own address where you can.

3. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the following from Parkspot’s systems. This is a hard delete, not a deactivation — the records are removed, not hidden:

  • Your account record: email address, display name, account identifier, and which sign-in provider you used;
  • Your saved favourite cameras and locations;
  • Your registered devices and push-notification tokens;
  • Any reports, feedback, and support tickets you submitted;
  • Your parking-check usage history and monthly allowance;
  • The subscription records we hold about your account.

4. What is kept, and for how long

We are honest about what does not disappear the moment you press delete:

  • Records we must keep by law. Where a transaction has taken place, tax and accounting rules require us to retain financial records for as long as the applicable law requires. These are kept for that purpose only — not to contact you, and not to build a profile.
  • Purchase records held by Apple and Google. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, those companies hold their own record of the transaction under their own retention policies. We cannot delete data held by them; contact Apple or Google directly.
  • Analytics and crash diagnostics. Product-analytics and crash-reporting records held by our processors are keyed to a random account identifier rather than your name or email. We stop associating that identifier with you at deletion. If you would like those records purged too, say so in your request and we will action it.
  • Server logs. Operational logs may contain request metadata for a short period before they age out. They are not used to reconstruct a deleted account.
  • Aggregated statistics. Figures that can no longer be linked to you or to any other individual — for example the total number of parking checks performed in a city — are retained. They contain no personal data.

5. Cancelling your subscription

As above: if you have an active Parkspot Pro subscription it is billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your Parkspot account does not cancel it, and billing will continue until you cancel with the store that charges you. Cancel first, then delete:

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us.

6. Deleting some data without deleting your account

We do not currently offer partial deletion of individual records. You can remove favourites at any time inside the app, and you can turn off push notifications and location access in your device’s system settings. For anything else, email support@parkspot.ai and we will deal with it case by case.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data — including access, correction, portability, and restriction of processing. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture and how to exercise them.
